Adesilex P9 Express from the Mapei brand is a high-performance cementitious adhesive, with GRAY: zero vertical slip and fast setting, for 6020 ceramic and porcelain stoneware tiles (applicable adhesive thickness up to 15 mm).
CHARACTERISTICS
Adesilex P9 Express is a gray or white powder adhesive, composed of cement, aggregates of selected granulometry, synthetic resins and additives.

Adesilex P9 Express, mixed with water, becomes an adhesive that is characterized by:
- easy workability;
- excellent adhesion to all materials normally used in the construction sector;
- hardening without noticeable shrinkage;
- fast setting;
- high thixotropy; Adesilex P9 Express can be applied vertically without sagging or letting the tiles slide, even if they are heavy.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Adesilex P9 Express should not be used:
- on precast concrete structures;
- on walls exposed to strong transversal movements and vibrations (wood, fiber cement, etc.);
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
- Gluing, both indoors and outdoors, ceramic tiles and mosaics on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
- It is also suitable for spot gluing insulating materials such as expanded polystyrene, fiberglass panels, rock wool. Panels
- acoustic insulation, etc.
CONSUMPTION
Gluing ceramic tiles:
– mosaics and small formats:
trowel no4; approx. 2kg/m²;
– medium formats:
trowel no5; approx. 2.5-3kg/m²;
– large formats and exterior flooring:
trowel no8-10; approx. 5kg/m².
Point gluing of insulating materials:
– rock wool, expanded polystyrene, foam, etc.:
approx. 0.5-0.8kg/m²;
– laminated gypsum panels (plasterboard) and cellular concrete:
approx. 1.5kg/m².
