IMPORTANT NOTICES
- Do not use Mapesil AC outdoors for joints between ceramics and light natural stones because there may be an accumulation of dirt on the edges of the joint. Using Mapesil LM
- To seal surfaces sensitive to acids, such as limestone, use a neutral silicone sealant (for example Mapesil LM)
- The use of Mapesil AC is not recommended on heavily laminated plastic surfaces or bituminous surfaces, due to the release of substances that reduce adhesion and penetrate the sealant, altering the color and resistance.
- The resistance of Mapesil AC to chemical agents is generally good; In any case, given the multiplicity of products and service conditions, it is necessary, in case of doubt, to carry out prior tests.
- Do not use Mapesil AC to seal aquariums, as it contains a substance dangerous for aquatic organisms.
- To seal pavements subject to intense traffic, use a polyurethane sealant (for example Mapeflex PU21)
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
